Objective In order to improve the quality of nursing care for patients in elderly nursing homes, collect information, find out the problems and formulate solutions. Methods The research selected 10 elderly nursing homes registered with the health administrative departments of various provinces and cities as the research objects, and carried out a comprehensive analysis of them using colaizzi phenomenology. Results The research shows that most elderly nursing homes lack a certain degree of uniformity in the assessment standards of safe nursing risk, and the professional skills of nursing staff are relatively weak, and the actual implementation is not standardized enough. Conclusion In order to improve the overall quality of patient safety care in nursing homes in the coming year, it is necessary to continuously improve the risk assessment process and evaluation standards, formulate and improve the management system, and strengthen the professional training of nursing staff.
