Objective To explore the effect of humanistic care on elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris. Method 66 elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris were selected as the research subjects, and medical record samples were collected from our hospital from February 2023 to February 2024. Divide the above patients into a reference group and an experimental group using a random number table method. The reference group received routine care, while the experimental group received humanistic care. There were 33 cases in each group, and the effects of the two groups were evaluated based on negative emotion scores, frequency of angina attacks, quality of life, and satisfaction. Results The negative emotion score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the reference group (P<0.05). The number of angina attacks in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the reference group (P<0.05). The quality of life in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion Humanistic care can alleviate negative emotions, reduce the frequency of angina attacks, and promote improvement in quality of life for elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris.
