Objective To study the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine ironing in the postoperative management of patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur. Methods In this study, 100 patients receiving PFNA surgery were selected. According to the random number table, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, 50 cases each. The control group received routine postoperative care, and the observation group added Chinese medicine ironing care. The final recovery effect of the two groups was compared. Results The degree of postoperative pain in the observation group was less than that in the control group, the incidence of postoperative VTE was lower than that in the control group, the postoperative activity of getting out of bed, fracture healing and hospital stay were shorter than that in the control group, and the Harris score showed that the recovery effect of hip function was better than that in the control group, and the activity of life was better than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Chinese medicine ironing intervention in patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur can reduce the degree of postoperative pain, reduce the occurrence of VTE, and promote the recovery of hip function.
