Objective To analyze and discuss the effect of PDCA cycle management combined with detail nursing on operating room safety management. Methods 84 surgical patients admitted to our hospital from April 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the research subjects and evenly divided into an observation group (PDCA cycle management combined with detailed nursing) and a control group (routine nursing). The quality of surgical nursing, safety quality, operating room risk events, and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results 1. The nursing quality of the observation group [operating skills score (8.94 ± 0.73), service attitude score (8.78 ± 0.65), sense of responsibility score (8.95 ± 0.71), emergency response ability score (9.03 ± 0.95)] was better than that of the control group (P<0.05); 2. The safety and quality of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05); The incidence of operating room risk events in the observation group (7.14%) was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); 4. The satisfaction rate of the observation group (92.86%) was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of PDCA cycle management and detailed nursing has a significant effect on the implementation of operating room safety management, and is worthy of wide promotion and application.
