平遥古城以市楼和明清街作为空间序列的起点和锚定点，但这个纯粹的设计动作，又通过多元可切换的方式拓宽了城市公共空间，创造出了一个以点为核心的伟大线性空间，它不仅是一个物理连接的交通系统，更是一个兼具多功能，迎合了不同场景，满足了世俗商业需求、情感需求，以及归属等需求的线性公共空间。

| Abstract |
Pingyao Ancient City takes its City Pagoda and Street Mingqing as the starting and anchor point of the spatial sequence. However, this purely designing action also expands the urban public space based on its qualities of diversity and flexblity, creating and innovating a great linear space with a point as its core. It is not only a transportation system that can connect physically, but also a multifunctional linear public space that meets various scene and secular needs like commercial, emotional, and belonging.
