Objective To improve the quality of orthopaedic nursing, to explore the clinical effect of applying predictive nursing guidelines in nursing. Methods In the implementation of this study, 70 patients were selected from the orthopedics department as the research objects, all of whom suffered from different types of orthopedic diseases, such as cervical spondylosis, pelvic fractures, tibia and fibula fractures, etc. The study inclusion criteria were divided into different groups according to the random number method, namely the control group applying routine nursing and the observation group applying predictive nursing guidelines, with 35 cases in each group, and their specific application effects were compared and analyzed. Results In the implementation of this study, the incidence of complications in the two groups of patients was analyzed. The results showed that there were only 2 cases of complications in the observation group, including 1 case of pressure ulcer and 1 case of constipation. There were 7 cases of complications, and the incidence of complications was significantly higher than that in the observation group (P<0.05). Conclusion Strengthening the application of predictive nursing guidelines in orthopaedic nursing work can help improve the quality of nursing and reduce the risk of complications.
