Objective To explore the application value of thunder-fire moxibustion intervention in postoperative pain in patients with ureteral stones. Methods 80 patients undergoing ureteral stone surgery who were treated from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as research subjects, and they were divided into a control group (n=40 cases, routine care) and an observation group (n=40) according to the random number table method. Compare the pain level, pain duration, pain attack frequency, and sleep quality between the two groups of patients. Results The pain intensity, pain duration, pain attack frequency, and sleep quality scores of the observation group were all lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Thunder-fire moxibustion intervention has significant value in postoperative pain management in patients with ureteral stones. It can effectively reduce the pain level, shorten the duration of pain and improve the sleep quality of patients, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
