Objective Study and explore the role of Western medicine prescription analysis, and observe and analyze its application effect in pharmaceutical services. Methods A retrospective analysis method was adopted, and 300 prescriptions from January 2022 to December 2022, when the hospital did not perform prescription management analysis, were randomly selected as the control group (a total of 300 patients and 25 medical staff were involved) ; At the same time, 300 prescriptions during the hospitals prescription management analysis period from January 2023 to December 2023 were randomly selected and used as the observation group (a total of 300 patients and 28 medical staff were involved), and the results of the two groups were compared. Compare the unreasonable prescriptions of Western medicines. Results The total incidence of irrational prescriptions in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the overall incidence of irrational drug use was also significantly lower than that of the control group. Conclusion Through intensive analysis of Western medicine prescriptions, the risk of unreasonable prescriptions can be significantly reduced, and it helps to improve medical staffs awareness of prescription analysis. It has been welcomed and praised by patients, and effectively promoted the hospitals pharmaceutical services. The improvement of the level is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
