Objective To explore and compare the nursing effect difference between the implementation of evidence-based nursing and conventional nursing in the treatment of lung cancer patients with radiotherapy. Methods A total of 80 lung cancer patients treated with radiotherapy in our hospital from June 2023 to June 2024 were selected and divided into two groups according to the principle of random drawing. The patients receiving routine care were classified as the control group (40 patients), and the other patients were classified as the observation group (40 patients) after adopting the evidence-based nursing mode. The prognostic effects of the two groups under different nursing methods were recorded and compared. Results The quality of life in the observation group was improved significantly (P < 0.05). Conclusion The implementation of evidence-based nursing has a good auxiliary effect on the radiotherapy treatment of lung cancer patients. Compared with conventional nursing methods, this mode can more effectively reduce the pain of patients during treatment, accelerate the improvement of the rehabilitation efficiency of patients, further improve the quality of life of patients, and have greater help to enhance the nursing effect and improve the quality of nursing. Therefore, this nursing model should be preferred in clinical nursing.
