Objective To observe and analyze the application effect and application value of integrated nursing in chronic disease health management of urban occupational population. Methods A retrospective study method was used to select 60 patients with chronic diseases in urban occupational population who received physical examination in the hospital (sample inclusion number: 60 cases; sample inclusion time: December 2023 to December 2024). The random ball-based grouping method was used to divide them into two groups, control and experimental, and the number of observation cases was highly consistent. Routine health examination nursing and integrated nursing were implemented respectively. The nursing effects were collected and analyzed. Results Compared with the control group (routine health examination nursing), the experimental group (integrated nursing) had lower negative emotion scores, lower symptom scores, and higher quality of life scores (role function/emotional function/cognitive function/social function/physical function/overall health) after nursing, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Integrated nursing can effectively alleviate the negative emotions of patients with chronic diseases in urban occupational groups, improve self-care ability, promote symptom improvement, and improve the quality of life, which has high application value.
