Objective To analyze the effect of ultrasound drug introduction on abdominal distension in patients with thoracolumbar fracture. Methods Fifty patients with thoracolumbar fracture admitted to the Department of Spine Surgery of our hospital from February 2022 to May 2022 were selected as the control group, and 50 patients with thoracolumbar fracture admitted to the Department of Spine Surgery of our hospital from November 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the observation group. 50 patients in the control group were given routine abdominal distension care, and 50 patients in the observation group were given ultrasound drug introduction care on this basis, Comparing the differences in nursing indicators, abdominal distension, and quality of life. Results The time of first exhaust, defecation time and bowel sound in the observation group were lower than that of the control group, the nursing rate of abdominal distension was higher than that of the control group, and the quality of life in the observation group was higher than that of the control group，the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Ultrasound drug introduction has a significant effect on abdominal distension nursing of patients with thoracolumbaric fracture, which can significantly shorten the time of first exhaust, first defecation and intestinal sound recovery, and promote the recovery of patients, The quality of life has been improved.
