Objective To discuss the treatment and curative effect of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in emergency gastroenterology department. Methods A total of 90 patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding in the Department of Gastroenterology of our hospital from March 2022 to May 2023 were randomly divided into two groups, 45 cases in the control group (Western medicine treatment) and 45 cases in the observation group (combined with Losec endoscopic treatment on the basis of Western medicine treatment), and the therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared. Results The results of observation group were better than control group after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion Losec combined with endoscopy in the treatment of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in the emergency department of gastroenterology is significantly better than western medicine, which not only significantly shorts the hemostatic time and hospital stay, alleviates the economic pressure of patients, but also significantly reduces adverse events and has significant curative effect.
