Objective To analyze the effect of acupuncture combined with emotional nursing in patients with herpes zoster. Methods A total of 110 patients with confirmed shingles were included in our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023. All the patients were divided into two groups according to the digital random table method. The control group included 55 cases to provide conventional western medicine treatment, and the observation group included 55 cases to provide acupuncture and acupuncture techniques combined with traditional Chinese medicine emotional nursing on this basis. The clinical efficacy, pain degree and emotional state of the two groups were evaluated comprehensively. Results Compared with the control group, the total effective rate of the observation group was significantly improved (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, the visual analogue score (VAS) of the observation group was significantly decreased after treatment (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, the Hamilton Anxiety scale (HAMA) and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) in the observation group decreased more significantly after intervention (P < 0.05). Conclusion In patients with herpes zoster, the combination of acupuncture and traditional Chinese emotional nursing can significantly improve clinical efficacy, relieve pain and improve negative emotional state.
