Objective To study and analyze the impact of pre pregnancy eugenics health check ups and guidance on pregnancy outcomes and newborn birth quality for couples planning to conceive. Methods According to the Implementation Plan for the Free Pre pregnancy Health Examination Project in Jiangxi Province, couples planning to conceive are provided with free pre pregnancy health examinations and guidance, and the pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women before and after conducting health examinations and guidance are analyzed. Specifically, 90 pregnant and postpartum women who received pre pregnancy eugenics health examinations and guidance were randomly selected as the observation group, while 90 pregnant and postpartum women who did not receive pre pregnancy eugenics health examinations and guidance were selected as the control group; Collect relevant data from two groups and analyze the differences in delivery outcomes. Results The incidence of premature birth, miscarriage, low birth weight infants, and birth defects in the observation group was lower than that in the control group; The Apgar score of newborns in the observation group was (9.72 ± 0.22) points, significantly higher than that of the control group (7.80 ± 0.81) points, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Pregnant couples who plan to undergo prenatal eugenics health check ups and guidance can avoid adverse pregnancy outcomes.
