Abstract
Objective: To discuss the clinical effectiveness of holistic nursing based on behavioral change theory in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Method: A total of 68 GERD patients admitted to our hospital from March 2023 to March 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a study group (34 cases, holistic care based on behavioral change theory) and a routine group (34 cases, routine care). Compare the symptom scores of RDQ reflux disease, Morisky nursing compliance, and quality of life scores of GERD-HRQL gastroesophageal reflux patients before and after nursing care between two groups. Result: After nursing, the RDQ score and GERD-HRQL score of both groups significantly decreased, with the RDQ score and GERD-HRQL score of the study group being lower than those of the conventional group (P<0.05); After nursing, the nursing compliance of both groups was significantly improved, and the nursing compliance of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of behavior change theory in the holistic nursing model of GERD patients can effectively alleviate their clinical symptoms, improve their nursing compliance and quality of life.
