Objective To discuss and study the effect of early bed resistance exercise on postoperative rehabilitation nursing of patients with gastrointestinal tumors. Methods A total of 80 patients were included in this study, with a time range from January 2023 to December 2023. They were divided into control group and experimental group according to the order of hospitalization time, with 40 patients in each group. Patients in the control group were provided with early get-out-of-bed activities, while those in the experimental group were provided with early anti-resistance exercise. The pain degree, dominant hand grip strength, digestive function recovery time, catheter retention time and postoperative hospital stay of the two groups were analyzed. Results The pain degree of the experimental group was less, and the dominant hand grip strength, digestive tract function recovery time, catheter retention time and postoperative hospitalization time were significantly lower, p<0.05. Conclusion Providing early bed resistance exercise during postoperative rehabilitation nursing for patients with gastrointestinal tumors can improve the pain degree of patients, shorten the catheter retention time and hospitalization days of patients, and reduce the costs incurred during hospitalization, which is worth advocating.
