Objective To analyze the effect of complication experiential education on type I diabetes in children and adolescents. Methods A study was conducted on 80 patients admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023. They were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group using a random balance method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group provided routine education, while the experimental group provided experiential education on complications. The blood glucose levels and self-management behaviors of the two groups of patients before and after management were analyzed. Results The blood glucose levels of the experimental group patients were more balanced, and their self-management ability was better (P<0.05), with significant differences. Conclusion Providing children and adolescents with type I diabetes with experiential education on complications can improve their self-management ability, stabilize their blood sugar level and improve their quality of life.
