Objective: To explore the effect of implementing a refined nursing model for primiparous women undergoing cesarean section. Method: A grouping study was conducted on primiparous women who underwent cesarean section in our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023. All 94 cases were randomly divided into two groups, with an average of 47 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received refined care. Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the two groups based on postoperative pain level, lactation function, and emotional status. The visual analogue scale (VAS) decreased more significantly in the observation group compared to the control group at 6 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours after surgery (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group showed a significant reduction in lactation initiation time and a significant increase in 24-hour lactation volume score (P<0.05). The Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) were compared, and the observation group showed a more significant decrease compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Implementing a refined nursing model for primiparous women undergoing cesarean section can significantly alleviate postoperative pain, alleviate negative emotions, and promote improvement in lactation function.
