Objective To analyze the effect of applying ear acupoint pressure combined with acupoint massage on chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in patients with acute leukemia. Methods Fifty patients with post chemotherapy vomiting in acute leukemia who visited our hospital from March 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group of 25 cases who received medication for antiemesis, and an observation group of 25 cases who received ear acupoint pressure combined with acupoint massage. The antiemetic effects and KPS scores of the two groups were compared. Results The duration of vomiting, use of remedial antiemetics, satisfaction, and KPS score after treatment in the observation group were all better than those in the control group, with significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of ear acupoint pressing combined with acupoint massage is effective in treating nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy in acute leukemia. It can reduce vomiting after chemotherapy and reduce the use of remedial antiemetic drugs. Patient satisfaction is high, and it can also improve acceptance of chemotherapy stimulation.
