Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of pain nursing management on the prognosis and satisfaction of pediatric orthopedic patients. Methods The study was carried out in the department of Orthopedics, and 86 children were selected as the subjects, all of whom received orthopedics surgery in our hospital. At the same time, the children were divided into control group and observation group according to the order of admission before and after admission, and routine nursing management and pain nursing management were implemented in the two groups respectively, and the pain situation, hospital stay, wound removal time and family satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in pain scores between the two groups before nursing (P > 0.05). After 1 day, 2 days and 3 days of nursing, the pain scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). At the same time, the length of hospital stay, the time of wound removal, and family satisfaction in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Pain nursing management for pediatric orthopedic patients can effectively reduce pain, promote rapid recovery after surgery, and improve family satisfaction.
