Objective To analyze and discuss the application effect of extended care in the home period after the operation of fragile hip fracture, hoping to provide theoretical and practical basis for the field research and better promote the recovery of patients. Methods The experiment was carried out in the form of control, and 70 elderly patients with brittle hip fracture surgery treated in our hospital were selected as the research basis. Following the principle of "parallel sequential" grouping, systematic sampling method was used to divide the groups, and each group was arranged (n=35) and named as the observation group and the control group, the former receiving routine nursing service plan and the latter receiving extended nursing service plan. Then, relevant data was collected and collated, analyzed statistically, integrated and compared, and the comparison scope included: self-management ability score and hip joint function score. Results After statistical evaluation, it was found that the application of different intervention strategies had a positive effect on the two groups of patients, but the self-management ability and hip function scores of patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the data differences between groups showed statistical significance P < 0.05, which is worth exploring. Conclusion For elderly patients with brittle hip fracture, it is recommended to give priority to extended nursing service in the horizontal selection of clinical nursing plan, which can not only effectively improve the effect of home recovery after brittle hip fracture surgery, but also significantly improve patients self-management ability and hip function. The application value is significant, and the promotion significance is far-reaching. It is expected to be adopted.
