Objective To analyze and study the effect of applying the concept of rapid rehabilitation in pediatric orthopaedic perioperative nursing. Methods A total of 86 children admitted to the Department of Orthopedics were selected as the study objects from December 2022 to December 2023. According to the admission order of 86 children, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 43 cases in each group. They were given routine nursing and rapid rehabilitation nursing during the nursing period, and the nursing effect of the two groups was compared. Results The postoperative pain score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05), and the length of hospital stay in the observation group was also shorter (P < 0.05). Complications occurred in 2 cases and 7 cases in the observation group and control group, respectively, with an incidence of 4.65% and 16.27%, and the incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). In addition, the satisfaction of parents in the observation group was higher (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of the concept of rapid rehabilitation in pediatric orthopaedic perioperative nursing can further improve the quality of nursing, reduce pain and prevent complications, and has been recognized by parents.
