Objective To analyze and study the clinical effect of nursing intervention on improving pruritus in elderly patients with eczema. Methods The experimental period was from June 2022 to June 2023, and the experimental subjects were 60 elderly eczema patients admitted to our hospital in this period. The purpose of the experiment was to understand the clinical effect of nursing intervention, so routine nursing and comprehensive nursing were taken as two comparison items, and 60 patients were first divided into the control group and the observation group with the same number of people. The control group received routine admission treatment and nursing procedures, and the observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention on this basis, and then compared the clinical indicators of the two groups of patients. Results Compared with the experimental results, the degree of itch in the observation group was lower than that in the control group at different time periods (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 93.33%, compared with 73.33% of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The implementation of comprehensive nursing for elderly patients with eczema can improve their pruritus symptoms by providing meticulous and high-quality nursing services, and also improve their clinical nursing satisfaction to a greater extent.
