Objective To analyze the effects of quadruple therapy on chronic gastritis and quadruple plus diet regulation and psychological guidance on chronic gastritis. Methods 40 patients with chronic gastritis diagnosed and treated in our hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were randomly divided according to the order of admission, with an average of 20 cases in each group. The control group was treated with quadruple therapy, and the observation group was treated with diet adjustment and psychological counseling combined with quadruple therapy. To evaluate the patients emotional state, symptom improvement and clinical effect before and after treatment. Results Compared with self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), the reduction of observation group after intervention was more obvious than control group (P < 0.05). Comparing the improvement of symptoms between the two groups, the improvement time of acid reflux, heating and abdominal pain in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Compared with the total clinical effective rate, the improvement of the observation group was more obvious than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The combination of dietary adjustment and psychological counseling can effectively relieve the stress caused by negative emotions, accelerate the symptom relief and further improve the clinical efficacy of chronic gastritis patients on the basis of quadruple therapy.
