Objective To observe the nursing effect of gastrointestinal dynamic therapy instrument combined with exercise bracelet in elderly patients with constipation. Methods A total of 60 elderly patients with constipation admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were randomly selected for study, and were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the observation group received gastrointestinal dynamic therapy combined with exercise bracelet intervention on the basis of the control group. The constipation recovery, intestinal peristalsis function score and prognosis recurrence were compared between the two groups. Results The constipation recovery, intestinal peristalsis function score and prognosis recurrence in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of gastrointestinal motility therapy combined with exercise bracelet for nursing intervention in elderly patients with constipation can significantly improve the recovery of constipation and the recurrence of prognosis, improve the intestinal peristalsis function score of patients, and has clinical promotion value.
