Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of applying intensified risk care to patients with neonatal pneumonia. Methods Eighty patients who were born in our hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 and were diagnosed with neonatal pneumonia were randomly selected. They were divided into a control group of 40 cases using a stratified random method to receive routine care, while the other 40 cases were added to the observation group with enhanced risk care. The improvement effect of pneumonia symptoms in the two groups of patients was compared, and the mental behavior and sleep disorders of newborns before and after nursing were also compared. Results The improvement of pneumonia symptoms in the observation group was better than that in the control group, with a significant difference (P < 0.05). In terms of indicators of mental behavior and sleep disorders, before nursing, there was no significant difference in various indicators between the two groups, P > 0.05. After nursing, the observation group had better indicators than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant, P < 0.05. Conclusion Implementing intensified risk care for neonatal pneumonia patients can accelerate the disappearance of pneumonia symptoms, and is beneficial for improving their mental state and sleep.
