Objective To explore the value of practicing narrative nursing for patients recovering from schizophrenia (SCZ). Methods 74 patients with SCZ during the convalescence period from August 2023 to April 2024 were selected from our hospital. The inclusion criteria were as follows: All 74 patients met the diagnostic criteria; Most of his self-awareness is restored, and his intelligence is normal. Exclusion criteria: cognitive impairment; Accompanied by suicide, self-harm behavior, the degree of serious; Patients receiving electroconvulsive therapy within 30 days. According to the random value, the first 37 cases were divided into the control group, and the last 37 cases were divided into the observation group. The two groups received routine nursing, routine nursing + narrative nursing, respectively, and the influence between groups was analyzed. Results Before intervention, the inter-group values were higher (P > 0.05). After intervention, HAMA and HAMD scores in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Narrative nursing in patients with SCZ during rehabilitation has a significant effect, which is conducive to improving psychological state and can be implemented.
