This paper introduces the academic thought and clinical experience of Ma Zhanxue, director of acupuncture and moxibustion stage treatment of peripheral facial paralysis. Director Ma Zhanxue believes that facial paralysis is located in Yangming, Yang and Shaoyang channel tendon, and the loss of the channel tendon is the basic pathogenesis of facial paralysis. The treatment is based on the theory of the channel tendon, combining the differentiation of channels and symptoms, and using acupuncture, electroacupuncture, massage, rehabilitation training and other ways to promote rehabilitation. Acupuncture point selection pays attention to the overall conditioning, local and distal matching, facial corresponding meridian acupuncture points, the distal with Yanglingquan, Yinlingquan, Hegu, Taichong and other points, as well as Neiguan, Shenmen and other points. According to the different stages of the onset of facial paralysis, start from the whole conditioning of the channel tendon, and pay attention to regulating the spirit.
