Objective To analyze the application value of psychological nursing combined with health education in hypertension community health management. Methods From January 2023 to December 2023 as the research period, 86 hypertensive patients from a community hospital were selected as the experimental subjects. Computer random drawing method was used as the grouping method, and the groups were set as the control group (n=43, routine nursing) and the research group (n=43, psychological nursing+health education). The intervention effect of the two groups of patients was comprehensively evaluated from two aspects: emotional state score before and after nursing, self-management ability score. Results Before nursing, there was no significant difference in scores between the two groups of patients (P>0.05); After nursing, the STAI scores of the two groups of patients were compared. After t-validation, there was a significant difference between the groups (P<0.05), and the study group was lower than the control group; Comparing the scores of medication management, life management, exercise management, and emotional state management between two groups of patients, t-validation showed significant differences between the groups (P<0.05), and the study group was higher than the control group. Conclusion Communities are important places to strengthen the health management of hypertension. The combined application of psychological care and health education in their health management process can effectively improve the psychological status of patients and enhance their self-management ability, which has a positive significance for long-term control of the condition of hypertension patients.
