大学图书馆传统上被视为文献收藏和借阅的场所，但它们在提供知识和信息服务方面也能对本地产业起到重要支持作用。衡阳作为湖南重要的中药材种植与加工基地，其中中药材产业的发展不仅对当地经济具有重大影响，也在全球范围内具有广泛的市场前景。在这一背景下，本文主要探究高校图书馆服务与衡阳中药材产业发展之间的互动机制，以期促进衡阳中药材产业的可持续高质量发展，并为高校图书馆服务功能的拓展提供新的视角。

| Abstract |
University libraries are traditionally viewed as places for document collection and borrowing, but they can also play a significant supporting role in providing knowledge and information services for local industries. As an important base for the cultivation and processing of traditional Chinese medicine in Hunan, Hengyang not only has a significant impact on the local economy, but also has broad market prospects worldwide. Under this circumstance, this article mainly explores the interactive mechanism between university library services and the development of Hengyangs traditional Chinese medicine industry, so as to promote the sustainable and high-quality development of Hengyangs traditional Chinese medicine industry, and provide a new perspective for the expansion of university library service functions.
