Objective To analyze the effectiveness of using the 4C teaching method in the teaching of respiratory nursing interns. Methods Fifty respiratory nursing interns who underwent internships in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into a reference group and an experimental group according to different teaching methods. The reference group used conventional teaching methods, while the experimental group used 4C teaching methods, with 25 students in each group. Evaluate the effects of two groups based on theoretical and operational performance, self-directed learning ability, and teaching satisfaction. Results The theoretical and operational scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the reference group (P<0.05). The self-directed learning ability of the experimental group was higher than that of the reference group (P<0.05). The teaching satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of 4C teaching method in the teaching of respiratory nursing interns has a more prominent effect, which can improve their theoretical and operational performance, as well as their self-directed learning ability. Therefore, interns are more satisfied with this.
