Objective To explore the application of automatic pumping device in electroprostatectomy. Methods A total of 280 patients who received electroprostatectomy in our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were randomly divided into control group (140 cases with conventional bucket collection method) and observation group (140 cases with automatic pumping device method), and the effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The comfort of patients and satisfaction of medical staff in observation group were higher than those in control group. At the same time, the wetting condition of clothes, the floor of operating room and the number of operation pauses in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The automatic pumping device can significantly improve the comfort of patients and the satisfaction of medical staff, improve the wetting condition of medical staffs clothes and operating room floor, and reduce the number of operation suspensions. It has high application value.
