Objective To analyze the effect of continuous traditional Chinese medicine nursing mode applied to patients with ulcerative colitis. Methods Ten patients with ulcerative colitis admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were randomly divided into control group (5 cases, adopting conventional nursing methods) and observation group (5 cases, adopting continuous traditional Chinese medicine nursing mode on the basis of conventional nursing). Nursing satisfaction, quality of life score and psychological status score of the two groups were compared and evaluated. Results Both groups achieved a certain effect after nursing, but the nursing satisfaction and quality of life scores of patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while the psychological status scores of patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The continuous Chinese medicine nursing mode has achieved obvious effect on patients with ulcerative colitis, which can significantly improve patients nursing satisfaction and quality of life, improve patients psychological state, and has high value in practical application.
