Objective To analyze the effect of nursing intervention based on health belief model on patients with rosacea. Methods Eighty patients with rosacea who visited our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were randomly selected. Forty patients were divided into a control group using a stratified random method for routine nursing, while the other 40 patients were added to the observation group with nursing interventions based on health belief models. The understanding of health knowledge and overall nursing effects before and after nursing were compared between the two groups. Results Before nursing, there was no significant difference in health knowledge understanding, MUIS disease uncertainty, ESCA self-care, CGQ comfort score, and other indicators between the two groups of patients, with P>0.05. After nursing, the observation group had better indicators than the control group, with a significant difference, P<0.05. Conclusion Implementing a health belief based nursing intervention strategy for patients with rosacea can improve their knowledge understanding, improve their sense of disease uncertainty, enhance their self-care skills, and promote physical comfort.
