Objective To analyze the effect of standardized nursing based on continuous quality improvement on wound stomy patients. Methods During the study period, 60 patients with wound stomy who were treated in our hospital from January 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the study objects. It was confirmed that the patients met the experimental participation conditions, and 60 patients were randomly assigned to 2 groups, namely the control group and the observation group. During the nursing period, routine nursing and standardized nursing based on continuous quality improvement were respectively implemented. The wound stomy scores, quality of life and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The wound stomy scale (DET) was used to evaluate the wound stomy. The results showed that the DET score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group after 2 weeks of intervention (P < 0.05). The quality of life in observation group was higher after intervention (P < 0.05); In addition, the incidence of complications was significantly lower in the observation group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Standardized nursing based on continuous quality improvement has a good effect in the nursing of wound stomy patients, which can promote rehabilitation, improve quality of life, and help prevent complications.
