Objective This study focused on the clinical application of functional rehabilitation as the core of nursing mode for patients with acute ischemic stroke after mechanical thrombectomy, and evaluated the effectiveness of nursing by summarizing patients relevant functional scores, quality of life scores and other data. Methods 100 patients with acute ischemic stroke undergoing mechanical thrombectomy in our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into two groups and given different nursing measures. Routine nursing was carried out in the reference group, while the nursing mode with functional rehabilitation as the core was carried out in the study group. Results The data of the two groups showed that there were significant differences in functional scores, complication rate, quality of life scores and nursing satisfaction between the two groups, and the study group had the advantage (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of functional rehabilitation as the core nursing mode for patients with acute ischemic stroke after mechanical thrombectomy has significant effects, and the neurological function, limb function and cognitive function of patients have been significantly restored, with high clinical safety and fewer complications. Through active cooperation of patients, the quality of life has been improved, and the application effect has been satisfactory to patients, which is worthy of wide application.
