To summarize the experience of external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of urinary retention in a 3-year-old child with snoring after surgery. Key points: In this paper, the deswelling technique of prepuce edema was implemented to promote the diffusion and absorption of prepuce tissue fluid from the center to the periphery, so as to reveal the urethral opening and facilitate urination. Moxibustion with onion: give full play to the role of Xinwarm clearing the orifice and liberating urine, and promote urine discharge. Salt-blocking moxibustion: It has the function of warming spleen Yang and kidney Yang, returning Yang and fixing out, igniting fire and returning yuan, and preventing collapse, hematuria and other complications after acute urination in children. After 7 minutes of treatment, the child was able to relieve urine without complications or adverse reactions. The external treatment of Chinese medicine has the characteristics of non-invasive, safe and efficient, which gives full play to the characteristics of Chinese medicine, and is worthy of deep exploration and application in clinical practice.
