Objective To observe and analyze the clinical effect and application value of respiratory training combined with comfort nursing in elderly patients with chronic heart failure. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to select 60 elderly patients with chronic heart failure (sample included: 60 cases; Sample inclusion time: January 2022 to January 2023) was divided into control and experimental groups based on random ball touching, and the number of observed cases was highly consistent. Routine nursing, breathing training and comfort nursing were carried out respectively. The nursing effect was collected and analyzed. Results Compared with the control group (conventional care), the experimental group (breathing training combined with comfort care) had higher life quality score/cognitive function/social function/physical function, lower sleep quality score (sleep quality/sleep time/sleep time/sleep efficiency/sleep disorders/hypnotic drugs/daytime dysfunction) and higher LVEF level. The level of LVEDD was lower and the negative emotion score (anxiety/depression) was lower, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Breathing training combined with comfort nursing can effectively relieve the negative emotions of elderly patients with chronic heart failure, promote the recovery of heart function, promote the improvement of sleep quality and life quality, and improve the prognosis, and have high application value.
