This study investigates the current situation and reasons for the "Chinese culture aphasia" phenomenon in English teaching at Chinese universities. 301 college students participated in this questionnaire survey, revealing that most students have a positive attitude towards learning Chinese culture, but face difficulties in expressing Chinese culture in English. The results show that 83.39% of students believe heavy coursework affects their ability to express Chinese culture in English. In comparison, 58.80% are uncertain about the systematic presentation of Chinese cultural content in textbooks. To improve this situation, the study suggests: 1) The education department should organically integrate Chinese cultural elements into the English curriculum system; 2) Textbook writers need to increase Chinese cultural content, focusing on comparisons between Chinese and Western cultures; 3) Strengthen Chinese cultural training for English teachers; 4) Stimulate students interest in learning through diverse teaching activities. The study concludes that addressing the issue of Chinese culture aphasia requires joint efforts from educators, students, and policymakers to cultivate talents proficient in expressing Chinese culture in English, thereby enhancing the countrys soft cultural power.
