Objective This paper focuses on the application effect of clinical nursing intervention in nutritional support therapy for severe cancer patients, and determines the effectiveness of this program with multiple data. Methods Study duration: January 2023-January 2024, study subjects: 60 patients with severe nutritional support therapy, under the premise of soliciting patients opinions, were divided into two groups, the relevant data between groups were studied. Results All the nutritional indicators of the experimental group were significantly improved, only one case of malnutrition and one complication, accounting for 3.33% (1 / 30). Meanwhile, the time of mechanical ventilation was significantly shortened, and the quality of life was significantly improved. The satisfaction of patients with their service was as high as 96.67% (29 / 30), and the P value between groups reached the standard of <0.05. Conclusion The clinical nursing intervention program in the treatment process of nutritional support therapy for severe cancer patients can greatly improve the nutritional status of patients, shorten the time of mechanical ventilation and treatment, so as to avoid or reduce the incidence of malnutrition and complications, and achieve the high acceptance, recognition and satisfaction of patients.
