Objective To explore the clinical value of applying standardized cancer pain care in elderly patients with cancer pain. Methods 68 patients with ocular trauma surgery admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to May 2024 were selected as study subjects, based on randomization envelope method, control group (n=34 patients, receiving routine perioperative care) and trial group (n=34 patients, receiving focal psychological care). Comparast: anxiety and depression improvement score, quality of life score, and patient satisfaction with care. Results After the intervention, the adverse mood scores of the two groups improved, and the anxiety and depression scores were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05); however, the difference between the two groups was not significant (P> 0.05) 00; after the intervention, the social, emotional, mental and physical function scores of the test group were much higher than that of the control group (P <0.05); compared with the two groups, the control group and the test group were different (P <0.05). Conclusion The use of focal psychological nursing mode in the nursing of patients with eye trauma surgery is more conducive to relieving the negative emotions such as tension and fear, improving the quality of life, and enhancing the satisfactory effect of nursing. The nursing mode is worthy of praise.
