Objective To explore the application value of emergency nursing procedures combined with emotional care in patients with acute liver cirrhosis and gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods Sixty patients with liver cirrhosis and gastrointestinal bleeding admitted to the emergency department of the hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were evenly divided into an observation group (emergency nursing program combined with emotional nursing) and a control group (routine nursing), and their nursing results were compared. Results 1. Nursing effect: The nursing effect of the observation group was slightly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); 2. Nursing quality: The nursing quality of the observation group [successful puncture (7.34 ± 1.03) points, puncture efficiency (8.31 ± 1.21) points, infusion comfort (8.79 ± 1.07) points, nursing attitude (7.76 ± 1.04) points] was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); 3. Hemostatic effect: The observation group showed better hemostatic effect (bleeding cessation time 2.21 ± 0.36 d, successful hemostasis 96.67%, bleeding recurrence 6.67%, and recurrent bleeding frequency 1.19 ± 0.24 times) than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The use of emergency nursing procedures combined with emotional care is effective for the treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding caused by emergency liver cirrhosis, and is worthy of widespread promotion and application.
