Objective To explore the application effect of comfort nursing in operating room in patients with thyroid cancer. Methods a total of 70 patients with thyroid cancer were selected to participate in the statistical study from July 2021 to February 2022. According to the order of admission, they were divided into routine group and experimental group, with 35 patients in each group performing nursing intervention in different operating rooms. The routine group was given routine nursing in the operating room, and the experimental group was given comfort nursing in the operating room. The postoperative basic vital sign index, surgical comfort score, out of bed and hospital stay were compared between the two groups. Results compared with the routine group, the basic vital sign index of the experimental group was lower (P < 0.05). Compared with the routine group, the time of getting out of bed and hospitalization in the experimental group was lower (P < 0.05). Compared with the routine group, the score of surgical comfort in the experimental group was higher (P < 0.05). Conclusion the overall comfort of patients with thyroid cancer can be improved, and the treatment of patients with thyroid cancer can be improved.
