Objective To analyze the effect of combined treatment with dexmedetone and hysteroscopy on patients with endometrial polyps. Methods 64 patients with endometrial polyps admitted to our hospital from March 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the study subjects. Using a random number table method, 32 cases were divided into a reference group and an experimental group. The reference group received hysteroscopy treatment, while the experimental group received dexmedetone treatment on the basis of the above. Based on menstrual volume, menstrual period time, endometrial polyp recurrence rate, and endometrial thickness. Results The menstrual volume, menstrual period time, and recurrence rate of endometrial polyps in the experimental group were all lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). The endometrial thickness of the experimental group was lower than that of the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of dexamethasone and hysteroscopy has a significant therapeutic effect on patients with endometrial polyps, which can reduce menstrual flow, shorten menstrual period time, and lower the recurrence rate and thickness of endometrial polyps. This method is worth promoting.
