Objective To explore the clinical value and significance of using levonorgestrel intrauterine sustained-release system in the treatment of protruding uterine adenomyoma after lesion resection. Methods Fifty patients with protruding uterine adenomyoma admitted to our hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the study subjects. Patients were randomly divided into a control group (25 cases, treated with lesion resection) and a study group (25 cases, treated with lesion resection combined with levonorgestrel intrauterine sustained-release system) according to different treatment methods. Collect and analyze the treatment outcomes of two groups of patients. Results Both groups of patients achieved certain results after treatment. The VAS, PBAC scores, E2, LH, and FSH levels in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The combined use of levonorgestrel intrauterine sustained-release system after lesion resection has significant clinical effects on patients with protruding uterine adenomyoma, effectively improving their menstrual status, and has high application value.
