[Abstract] Objective To explore the effect of happy diary nursing on the quality of life and negative emotions of patients with advanced lung cancer chemotherapy. Methods Sixty patients with advanced lung cancer chemotherapy in our hospital from April 2019 to January 2021 were the subjects of this study, and they were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was given routine psychological intervention, and the observation group was given a happy diary-style psychological intervention for 4 consecutive weeks. The Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), and Quality of Life Scale for Cancer Patients (EORTCQLQ-C30) were compared before and after intervention. Results After the intervention, in the EORTCQLQ-C30 scale of the two groups, the scores of functions, symptoms, general health, quality of life and other dimensions were significantly higher than those before the intervention, and the scores of all dimensions of the observation group after the intervention were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). After the intervention, the HAMA scores and HAMD scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before the intervention, and the two scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group after the intervention (P<0.05). Conclusion Happy diary nursing can significantly reduce the anxiety, depression and other negative emotions of patients with advanced lung cancer chemotherapy, and improve the quality of life. The clinical application is simple and easy.
