[Abstract] Objective: To observe the effect of mental health status on work quality and mental state of nurses in disinfection supply center (CSSD). Methods: 128 nurses from CSSD from July 2019 to July 2021 were randomly divided into observation group (64 included, with psychological intervention on the basis of the control group) and control group (64 included, with routine management system). Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI), self rating Depression Scale (SDS), self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), teamwork ability Work quality. Results: (1) after 2 months of intervention, compared with the control group, the scores of PSQI, SDS and SAS in the observation group were lower and the score of teamwork ability was higher, P < 0.05; (2) In terms of work quality, the qualified rates of cleaning (96.80%), sterilization (97.60%), packaging (98.00%) and distribution (98.00%) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (90.00%), (91.60%), (90.40%) and (92.00%), P < 0.05. Conclusion: the mental health status of CSSD nurses has an important impact on their emotional state, sleep quality, work quality and teamwork ability. It is suggested to carry out appropriate psychological intervention for CSSD nurses.
