[Abstract] Objective: To explore the clinical value of health education combined with high-quality nursing in patients with tuberculous pleurisy and its effect on improving psychological and emotional state. Methods: 102 patients with tuberculous pleurisy from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected. Referring to the "random number table method", the subjects were divided into two groups - control group and observation group (all n = 51 cases). The observation group was given health education + high-quality nursing, and the control group only received high-quality nursing. Comparison of intervention results: psychological and emotional state score [self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), self rating Depression Scale (SDS)], treatment compliance, mastery of health knowledge, quality of life score [the MOS item short from health survey, SF-36)]。 Results: after nursing intervention, compared with the results of the control group, the SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were significantly lower, the treatment compliance rate was higher, the score of health knowledge mastery was significantly higher, and the SF-36 (physical pain, physiological function, mental state and social function) scores of the observation group were higher (P<0.05). Conclusion: the joint development of health education and high-quality nursing is conducive to improve the medication compliance of patients with tuberculous pleurisy, so as to enhance the clinical curative effect, improve the cognition of health knowledge, improve anxiety and depression, improve mental health, and finally achieve the purpose of improving the prognosis and quality of life of patients.
