[Abstract] Objective To explore the clinical value of psychological nursing in patients with chronic pelvic pain caused by endometriosis and its effect on improving their psychological state. Methods 96 patients with chronic pelvic pain caused by endometriosis (January 2019 to January 2021) were randomly divided into two groups: control group (routine nursing) and observation group (psychological nursing), with 48 cases included in each group. The nursing intervention results of the two groups were compared: anxiety and depression, mental health status, pain degree and quality of life. Results After nursing intervention, the scores of anxiety and depression (SAS and SDS) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the score of mental health state (SCL-90) was lower than that in the control group, the visual analog pain score (VAS) was lower than that in the control group, and the scores of all dimensions of quality of life (EORTC qlq-30) were higher in the observation group (P<0.05). ConclusionThe implementation of psychological nursing is conducive to improve the prognosis of patients with chronic pelvic pain caused by endometriosis. Through effective intervention measures, it can reduce patients negative emotions, improve their mental health status, improve treatment compliance rate, promote patients early recovery and comprehensively improve their quality of life.
