【Abstract】Objective: To explore the correlation between caregiver burden and behavioral characteristics of patients with Alzheimers disease (AD). Methods: A total of 68 AD patients and their caregivers in our hospital from June 2019 to June 2022 were included as the research objects, and the behavioral characteristics of AD patients and the burden level of caregivers were evaluated.Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analyze the correlation between AD caregiver burden level and patient behavior characteristics. Results: AD patients had higher scores of depression/dysthymia, disinhibition, and apathy behavior. Pearson correlation analysis showed that the burden level of AD caregivers was related to the indifference of AD patients(r=0.509,P<0.001),aggressive/aggressive behavior (r=0.409,P<0.001),irritability was positively correlated (r=0.429, P<0.001),there was a significant negative correlation with high mood/euphoria (r=-0.414, P<0.001).There was a significant negative correlation with other behavioral characteristics(P<0.05), but the correlation coefficient was lower than that of apathy, agitation/aggression, irritability, and high mood/euphoria. Conclusion: AD caregiver burden level is significantly correlated with apathy, agitation/aggression, irritability/euphoria.
